xp-deadline

On April 8, 2014 Microsoft will end support for the following software:

Windows XP, Office 2003, Windows Small Business Server 2003 and Exchange 2003.

Why should you care?
If you are running any of the above software then you will no longer receive updates of any kind and most importantly you won’t get any security or driver updates. This means that any security vulnerabilities exposed after April next you won’t be protected leaving you vulnerable to viruses and other attacks. Any updates you receive to your line of business applications (Sage, Dynamics, CRM etc.) may not install on these older versions.
Itomic encourages you to discuss this situation with us to recommend a migration strategy from Windows XP to Windows 7 or 8, Office 2003 to Office 2013, Windows SBS 2003 to Windows Server 2012 and Exchange 2003 to Exchange Online (part of Office 365) before the deadline arises. That way you will be protected after April.
